Meet the Team

  • Lily Sylvester

    President

    Lily is a Senior Analyst at Avangrid, where she works on the development of onshore wind, solar, and storage projects. She has previous experience working in offshore wind origination and development, urban planning, and at nonprofits focused on energy and environmental issues. Lily is excited to continue building a community of like-minded professionals in the Boston area. In addition to YPE Boston, Lily is also an involved member of New England Women in Energy and the Environment.

    Originally from Rhode Island, Lily graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and minors in Writing and Energy Science and Policy.

  • Rita Alan

    Vice President of Operations

    Rita currently works for National Grid Ventures Offshore Wind and Asset Management team. Her role focuses on supply chain analysis and optimization to provide support to the company's portfolio of projects. She has experience across different organizations in the offshore wind industry, working on government affairs and national renewable policy. She is passionate about the intersection of technology adoption and policy to ensure a just energy transition.

    Rita holds a BS from Georgetown University in Science, Technology, and International Affairs, with a focus on Physics and Renewable Energy. She is originally from South Carolina, and enjoys running in her free time.

  • Evelyn Hatem

    Vice President of Sponsorships & Partnerships

    Evelyn is an Environmental & Energy Analyst at Eastern Research Group. Passionate about decarbonization strategy and energy policy, her role focuses on the voluntary renewable energy market and clean transportation. Prior to joining ERG, Evelyn earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Public Policy at Dartmouth College, where she researched carbon cap-and-trade in the electricity sector and interned in the Office of Sustainability.

    Previously, at Energy Action Network, Evelyn analyzed the social costs of greenhouse gases and their implementations in Vermont energy policy. With the Arthur Irving Institute for Energy and Society, Evelyn studied clean energy finance, electricity markets, and energy justice. Evelyn wants to say a special welcome to anyone checking out the YPE website for the first time! Feel free to reach out to chat about opportunities to partner with YPE.

  • Fabio Di Fabbrizio

    Secretary

    Fabio is an Executive Assistant at Greenvolt Power, combining a passion for organizing data with communications. He has a vast array of different experiences in various industries, including candy manufacturing, restaurants, museums, and hospitality. He is currently working to build communities centered around clean energy and reducing waste in the Boston area.

    Fabio graduated from Bocconi University in Milan with a MS in Management with a focus on Sustainability and a BA in History from New York University.

  • Guillermo Gomez

    Treasurer

    Guillermo is a Global Product Manager focused on developing battery-based emergency power systems that support critical infrastructure, including AI data centers, hospitals, and retail IT. With over eight years of experience in roles at Tesla, Lyft, Optimus Ride, and ZappyRide, he has worked across engineering, data science, and product management, helping to bring complex systems to life.

    A graduate of Stanford University with degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Political Science, and a Master’s in Management Science, Guillermo is committed to sustainability and fostering teamwork where everyone feels valued. Outside of work, he enjoys karaoke, dancing, skiing, and spending time outdoors. He’s also a real estate investor and enjoys sharing what he’s learned about sustainability, personal finance, and career development.

  • Emma Stevenson

    Marketing Chair

    Emma is an Energy Analyst at the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities in the Electric Power Division, where she helps shape the future of energy infrastructure, ratemaking, and regulatory policy in Massachusetts. She is passionate about public service and balancing the Commonwealth's clean energy goals with affordability and equity for energy consumers. At the Department, Emma focuses on energy efficiency, utility-owned solar and storage, Electric Sector Modernization Plans, and service quality.

    Emma holds a Master's from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University with concentrations in economics and environmental policy. Emma is from Rochester, NY and enjoys skiing, running, baking, and volunteering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in her free time.

  • William Crane-Morris

    Marketing Chair

    Will is currently completing a Master of Science in Data Science at Tufts University. He has a strong interest in energy markets, public policy, and sustainability, and is looking to work in the electricity industry after graduating. He enjoys learning as much as he can about the energy industry, especially pertaining to the intersection between BESS, solar, and state/federal policy.

    Will graduated from Hamilton College with a degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics. Outside of work and school, Will enjoys playing sports, baking bread, and reading.

  • Jack F. Reetz III

    Sponsorships Chair

    Jack is a Senior Business Development Associate at RENEW Energy Partners, where he provides turnkey financing solutions for energy system upgrades for C&I (commercial and industrial) clients. With expertise in Energy Service Agreements (ESAs), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and emissions reduction consulting, Jack collaborates with industry-leading partners to deliver impactful cost and emissions-reductions solutions.

    Jack holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Springfield College. Outside of his professional role, Jack is an avid skier, runner, F1 enthusiast, and lover of all things outdoors. Jack is the founder of the Springfield College Ski and Snowboard Team, the Assistant Division Coordinator of the McBrine Division of the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) and Co-Chair of the Sustainability Committee of the USCSA.

  • Jackson Doughty

    Jackson is a Sr. Manager of Project Development at BrightNight where he develops utility-scale solar & BESS projects. His focus is on land acquisition, interconnection, M&A screening, regulatory challenges, zoning, environmental permitting, and mineral clearance. He additionally supports in company-wide strategy efforts, offtaker origination, and financial model stress testing.

    Jackson has nine years of experience in the energy industry. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, he graduated from Union College in 2017 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Angela Hsuan Chen

    Memberships Chair

    Angela Hsuan Chen is a Development Associate at Satoshi Energy, where she manages 1.2 GW of data center projects colocated with renewable energy, specializing in power market strategy, energy policy, and environmental diligence. Previously, Angela worked at Galehead Development to advance a portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage projects across US markets from origination to energization. As Membership Chair, Angela is excited to help grow a welcoming community for energy professionals in Boston and connect members across the industry.

    Angela graduated from Williams College with a BA in Biology, with concentrations in Environmental Studies and Spanish. She also serves as a Fellow in Climate Cardinals, helping to foster youth climate action around the globe. Outside of work, she enjoys moonlighting as a translator at farmer’s markets around Boston, baking cakes, and running along the Charles River.

  • Sagar Chopra

    Partnerships Chair

    Sagar is a Research Manager at Wood Mackenzie, specializing in Solar PV systems, technology, and global system pricing. His work focuses on solar asset cost modeling, and supply chain dynamics across residential, commercial, and utility-scale markets in the US, Latin America, and Europe.

    Sagar leads research on historical market trends, cost forecasts, policy developments, and emerging technologies, providing manufacturers, developers, utilities, investors, and corporate buyers with data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making. He also contributes as the subject matter expert on system pricing for SEIA’s quarterly Solar Market Insight report.

    Sagar is originally from New Delhi, India. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, Dubai, and a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston. Sagar is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Massachusetts.

  • Grace Fletcher

    Events Chair

    Grace is a solar program manager at the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources where she works with solar developers, utility companies, residents, and other government agencies to develop and implement the state’s solar incentive programs. She is passionate about the intersection of renewable energy with other environmental issues and works to coordinate the state’s energy policy with other climate goals.

    Grace is originally from Georgia and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

  • Christopher Baxley

    Events Chair

    Chris is an Associate Consultant with Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel, an executive search and workforce solutions firm focused solely on the renewable energy industry on a global scale. He provides tailored recruitment services to both clients and candidates across all renewable sectors - onshore and offshore. Previously, he interned with ENGIE North America on the Project Management team in Columbus, Ohio working across several energy efficiency projects.

    Chris is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Sustainability

  • Cobi Frongillo

    Events Chair

    Cobi is the Deputy Director of Renewable & Alternative Energy at the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, where he works on design and implementation of the Commonwealth’s clean energy incentive programs. His background spans legislation, regulatory affairs, research, and public service, with a focus on state-level climate action. He also brings experience in local governance and civic leadership, having served multiple terms on the Franklin Town Council and on several regional nonprofit boards.

    Cobi holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he also earned bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Economics. Off duty, catch him road tripping, exploring cities, watching movies, or playing soccer.

  • Bogdan Belincevic

    Events Chair

    Bogdan is a Senior Power Markets Analyst at PowerIntel and TCR, where he spends most of his days running long-term production cost models to forecast market operations, wholesale prices, and emissions in SPP and PJM. Through his work, Bogdan has gained extensive knowledge of the power markets space, which he uses to help clients navigate the energy transition and make smarter investment decisions. Previously, Bogdan worked in boutique M&A advisory.

    Bogdan holds a Master of Engineering Management, a BE in Mechatronics, and a BA in Engineering and Economics, all from Dartmouth College, where he was a member of the D1 heavyweight crew team. Originally from Belgrade, Serbia, Bogdan now lives in Cambridge and enjoys cooking, running, puzzles, and attending live concerts.

  • Max St. Clair

    Events Chair

    Max is an Energy Analyst at Newton Energy Group. His work helps develop a modeling software used to simulate power grid operations. He is driven by enabling efficient and reliable grid operations under changing resources, load, and weather conditions. He also has experience working for a solar developer in rural SW Colorado.

    Max holds a bachelor's degree in economics and data science from UVA. He is originally from Boston, and outside of his professional work loves skiing, biking, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
